UX/UI Designer

Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research, competitor analysis, and gather feedback to understand user needs and pain points.

  •  Create user flows, sitemaps, and low-fidelity wireframes to define the logical path of the product.

  • Build high-fidelity, interactive prototypes to demonstrate functionality and test usability before development.

  • Design aesthetically pleasing interfaces including layouts, typography, color palettes, and iconography that align with brand standards.

  • Build and maintain a scalable Design System (UI Kits, component libraries) to ensure visual consistency across all platforms.

  • Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to validate design decisions and iterate based on real user data.

  • Prepare design assets and documentation for developers; collaborate closely with the engineering team to ensure high-quality implementation.

  • Monitor product performance and stay updated on the latest UI/UX trends and technologies to suggest meaningful enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating a clear Design Thinking process, from initial research and wireframing to the final polished UI.

  • Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in industry-standard design tools, primarily Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.

  • UX Principles: Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and accessibility standards (WCAG).

  • Visual Excellence: A keen eye for detail, layout, typography, and color theory.

  • Soft Skills: Strong communication skills to articulate design decisions to stakeholders and the ability to accept and act on constructive feedback.

  • Problem-Solving: Ability to solve complex workflow problems and turn them into intuitive, easy-to-use solutions.

  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
